 Happy Recital Day!

Thank you for last night.  Things started off a bit crazy with people stuck in traffic, but we definitely appreciate everyone working together.

For tonight, the show starts at 6:30PM.  Doors for sitting will not open until 6:10PM.  Nobody will be allowed in the event room until 6:10PM.

We received a bit of feedback last night about someone upset about changing in the lobby.  We apologize for the inconvenience of that choice that was made.  We would never advocate for putting a dancer in that uncomfortable situation. There is a big bathroom available for changing.  There were several rooms also available.  We helped find changing spaces for many who asked.  Please ask us next time- we will help you! 

Tonight, you can arrive as early as 5PM to prepare. Students and parents that are helping the dancer will need to check in at the table and go to the dressing areas.  All other patrons will need to go left into line for seats.  All dancers need to be at the RCC by 6:15PM ready to dance.

Dressing Areas:

Room F- all Tiny Tots classes, Thurs 5:30 Pre-ballet, Tues 5:30 Pre-ballet 2

Room D- Mon 5:15 ballet/tap, Mon 6:15 jazz, Mon 4:30 Pre-ballet, DanceAbilities, Zoey G.

Kitchen- Tues 6:30 Ballet/Jazz, Lyrical, Tap...older quick-change students

Once dancers are dressed, parents should leave dancers with the room moms.  Room moms will be taking the dancers to the line up area when it is time to line up- 3 numbers before they perform.

TUITION & CLASSES: 

· Please make sure that your tuition through May is caught up. 

· Performing dancers must be enrolled for May. 

· After the recital, we take a break until summer schedule starts Thursday, June 4th. 

· Summer schedule goes June and July. We start our fall schedule in August. 

· Summer is a great time to try new classes. We are also trying to get some dance camps scheduled.

We are so close to RECITAL TIME!  🙂
Here are some updates/information:

• We will be contacting people this week to confirm class moms.
• Anyone who does not have tights- they are coming in a little at a time.  We will pass out the ones we have in class this week.  Others will be given out at dress rehearsal. 

As a reminder...show details:

Monday, May 18th- All dancers will have group picture times and rehearsal times scheduled.  You will be able to take individual pictures, too. The schedule is coming out tomorrow.  Dancers will be scheduled in blocks from 4:45-7:15.

Tuesday, May 19th- All dancers will have line-up times that were sent out in the emails.  Dancers can arrive earlier to find meeting rooms and put on final touches. 

The show will be at the Rosenberg Civic Center- main room to the left as you enter the building

6:30PM is show time

Doors to sitting will not open until 6:10PM.

No tickets required. 

We are having some difficulty with T-shirts this year.  We will keep you updated as we know more.  

Picture schedule will be out very soon.  Your dancer will receive a flyer in class this week.
